Red Lobster biscuits recipe?
How do you make them? And DON”T tell me to use bisquick. I don’t care how much easier it’d be to use it.
Well I was wondering how much flour and baking powder to use.
I’m not telling you to use bisquick b/c it’s easier; use bisquick or ANY biscuit mix b/c that’s what the restaurant uses: a commercial biscuit mix.
If you want scratch Red Lobster biscuits, where you cut shortening into s/r flour, it won’t be like Red Lobster’s. But if you insist upon scratch, then cut the fat into the dry ingredients, prtened that is 2 cups of bisquick, and go from there, followoing the recipe below.
Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits
2 C. Bisquick
1/2 C. cold water
3/4 C. grated, sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 C. butter
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix together baking mix, cold water, and grated cheese. Cut biscuits with a cutter, and place onto a baking dish. Melt butter and seasonings together. Brush with the butter and spices and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
To mimic 2 cups bisquick, try this:
1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2½ tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. shortening
